Jamaican Black Castor Oil is extracted in a traditional manner in which the seeds are roasted then crushed in a mortar. Water is then added and the seeds are boiled, resulting in a thick, dark brown castor oil. Jamaican Black Castor Oil contains Omega-9 fatty acids which help to reduce inflammation and smooth fibrous tissue from scarring. It also has anti-fungal and antibacterial properties, reducing lingering bacteria.

 

Other nutrients in this oil include Vitamin E, which along with the fatty acids, can moisturize hair and treat common scalp issues such as dandruff and itchy scalp.
